The Bachelor´s thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial health of the selected company by the analysis of business environment and financial analysis. The theoretical part processes literature review on the issue according to which is created analysis of the internal and external business environment, SWOT analysis and financial analysis in the practical part. Then there are evaluated the results and possible solutions suggested to the financial situation of the company which are based on the findings from each analysis.

The thesis deals with a comparative analysis of the labour market in the countries of the southern wing of the European Union and identifies similarities and differences in the development of labour markets and in the implemented employment policies. The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical knowledge and basic concepts of the labour market and unemployment. Then, a comparative analysis of individual labour market indicators is conducted, which is complemented by factor and principal component analysis. It concludes with a comparison of employment policies in southern European countries and discusses their potential to improve the labour market situation.
Changes in residential tourism in Spain, Finland and Czechia

Recreational apartment houses are considered a new trend of second homes, which started to fully develop in Czechia in the 1990s. The first houses appeared at the end of the 20th century in mountain resorts, such as in the Krkonoše Mountains or Šumava. Compared to traditional chalets and cottages, apartment houses are better furnished and offer greater comfort to the users. The aim of this paper is to evaluate and compare the development of residential tourism in Spain, Finland and Czechia (with a primary focus on recreational apartment houses). The question of the consequences of the global economic crisis (in the case of Spain and Czechia) and the covid-19 pandemic (in the case of Finland and Czechia) for residential tourism is discussed. The importance of apartment dwellings as one of the integral parts of unoccupied dwellings is discussed on the basis of graphical outputs. Bachelor thesis is engaged in an impacts of economic crisis on automotive indus-try in the United States of America. A purpose of thesis is analyse impacts of mortgage and financial crisis on automotive industry and each manufacturers of automobiles in the U.S. First part of thesis is briefly engaged in origins, process and consequences of mortgage and financial crisis. Further thesis describes initial analysis of automotive industry in the United States and the greatest automobile manufacturers. Next part of thesis evaluate: crisis in the automotive industry, an impact of crisis on each manufacturers and identifies other factors affecting the American auto market.

An impact of the recent economic crisis upon the control of mergers of competitors in the EU The purpose of this thesis is to analyse an impact of the recent economic crisis upon the control of mergers of competitors in the EU. It is established as an initial hypotheses that the economic crisis had considerable impact upon the EC merger control. The thesis is composed of six chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the above mentioned topic. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic terminology used in the thesis. The chapter is subdivided into two parts. Part One describes pre-crisis legal framework of EC merger control. Part Two deals with dominant pre-crisis theoretical approaches towards EC merger control. Chapter Two examines origin and development of the recent economic crisis, various regulatory responses to it, as well as the joint action of EU Member States towards dealing with consequences of the economic crisis. The chapter consists of seven parts, last one of them attempts to compare current situation in the EU with historical example of US antitrust enforcement during national crises. Economic crisis in 1929-1934 and its impact on the Jablonec glass industry with special reference to Železný Brod region

A B S T R A C T This thesis analyzes the impact of the economic crisis in 1929-1934 on the Jablonec glass making with main attention to the district Železný Brod. One of the main causes of decline of the Czechoslovak glass industry in the first half of the 30s of 20th century was formed by pro-export focus. The region of Železný Brod and Jablonec nad Nisou had represented sites with major export, production and refining of glass that were for this reason by the economic crisis strongly affected. Deteriorating economic conditions at the beginning of 30s have resulted in intensified state intervention in industry, including the glass manufacturing as one of the most affected industrial areas. Because mostly cartels had regulatory function in the industry, a number of agreements among the glass producers in Jablonec nad Nisou and Železný Brod area were concluded. This thesis considers with different types of production and refining of the glass in order to offer the complete overview over the glass production in districts Jalonec nad Nisou and Železný Brod. Housing prices in Prague- their developments and prediction

The housing prices in Prague had risen by more than 63% between 2002 and 2008. However since August 2008, when they reached their peak, they have been almost constantly falling. Most of the publications regarding housing prices are taking into account Prague as one of the Czech regions. On the contrary, this work analyzes housing prices in Prague and its 22 districts. In first part of this work the indicators of rent-to-price ratio, price-to-income ratio and new building development factors are considered to explain possible future development of housing prices. This is seemed to continue falling during the year 2011. The second analytical part tries to explain the housing prices according to specific locality features and macroeconomic aspects. The panel regression is used and it reveals that the most significant attributes are the macroeconomic features.

Spanish Government's Response to Immigration and Integration Policies During the Economic Crisis of 2008-2014

This bachelor thesis deals with the impact of the economic crisis on immigration policy in Spain in the years 2008-2015. The research focuses mainly in the reactions of Spanish fovernments in the filed of immigration and integration policy in response to the economic crisis of 2008-2014. The economic crisis marked the biggest downturn for both the global and Spanish economies since the crisis of the 1930's. The aim of the thesis is to prove that the economic crisis meant a change in the orientation of immigration and integration policy in Spain by analyzing the approach of individual Spanish governments in this period. The first two parts of the thesis are devoted to defining the basic concepts related to migration and the historical context of Spanish development in the field of migration. Furthermore, the work describes the development of the economic crisis in the world and in Spain and examines how foreigners located on Spanish territory were affected. The main part of the work is an analysis of the approach of government political parties of the People's Party and Socialists to immigration and integration during the economic crisis with regard to the adoption of measures and legislative changes.
